What is Enrichment?
Enrichment activities cover a range of sporting and non sporting activities
Enrichment is designed to challenge and inspire learners to develop new or build on existing skills.
The Enrichment programme enables students to explore and participate in extra activities that enrich their lives and broaden their horizons preparing them for the wider world on completion of their courses.

Aims of Enrichment
The Enrichment Programme is intended to address the five themes from Every Child Matters (ECM) by providing opportunities for personal development in the following ways:
•   To be healthy
•   To stay safe
•   To enjoy and achieve
•   To make a positive contribution
•   To achieve economic well-being
Enrichment activities should aim to widen the social, cultural and physical skills of participants and to enable them to develop creativity, team working and networking skills.
Enrichment activities can also help learners develop a sense of social responsibility and develop skills to make them responsible citizens and prepare for working and independent life.
