Year on year, the arts team at Great Yarmouth College has continued to reinforce its well deserved reputation as one of the leading creative centres in the East of England. Studying in our state-of-the-art media hub (Studio 1), students specialise in fashion, graphic design, fine art, media, photography, performing arts, music and ceramics.

Studio 2/3, opened by rock legends Rick Wakeman and Dave Greenslade house a 120 seat theatre as well as modern dance studio and flexible teaching areas designed to accommodate an eclectic mix of students studying at all levels.

We have invested in the latest technologies to provide a realistic working environment for our students. Working with employers on specific tasks graphic design, media and fashion students are able to work on live professional projects.

The Great Yarmouth College radio studio has launched our very own radio station – GYC Radio. Run wholly by students during term time, GYC Radio is available to listeners on a podcast through the College Intranet.

Whether it’s filming local charitable events, staging catwalk shows, organising multi-day musical festivals or turning the College into an art gallery, there is plenty to keep you busy!
