Dog Walk to Help Dogs
Published: 09 July 2010
Animal care students at Great Yarmouth College organised dog walks and raised money for the Dogs Trust and PACT.

Seventeen students with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Rottweilers took part.

Level Two and three students collected £250 for the charities after walking from Britannia Pier to Caister.

Level One students walked along Breydon Water.

Animal Care courses are currently recruiting for September. The programmes can lead on to university to study subjects like veterinary nursing and zoology or straight into jobs.

One of last year’s level 3 leavers, Elise King, won a place at the Royal London Veterinary College.
