Whilst studying Beauty Therapy at GYC, Victoria was named Young Adult Learner of the Year for the Eastern Region just a few months after being judged the top trainee beauty therapist in the UK and winning gold in the WorldSkills UK competition.

She won the gold medal in the WorldSkills UK finals at the Birmingham NEC in 2013. Victoria went on to study for her level 3 whilst working a part-time job at the Aphrodite salon at Potters Leisure Resort.

Victoria said “My friend who is a beauty therapist persuaded me to look at the full-time level 2 course at Great Yarmouth College because it was the best course.”
