Level 2 and 3 – This is your opportunity to develop skills, knowledge and understanding of business in a lively, realistic and practical way. Covering a wide range of business topics, you will carry out research into business practices and complete exercises and projects. Experienced business people will give talks and you will go on study visits to see how different businesses operate. Work placements are an important element and for successful students can often lead to full-time employment.

If you are aged 16-19 and have not achieved GCSE grade A*-C in English and maths, any programme you choose will require you to continue studying English and maths.
Connor studied the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business.
The course helped Connor progress into a career in retail management. He said everything on the course was relevant to what he needed to do in his career. The tutors were supportive, offering advice and guidance on the future, drawing upon their years of experience in the relevant industries.
Connor said that if he wanted a change in career direction, this course has given him the knowledge and skills to move into areas such as Marketing, Human Resources and Finance.
