Tom Edwards

Before joining GYC, Tom was working full time as a picture framer. He decided he wanted a change of career path and wanted to learn a trade. This led him to enrol on the Plumbing level 2 course.

Tom learned skills that would open up job opportunities in plumbing and towards the end of the course he got himself an Apprenticeship with Anglia Heating. As soon as Tom completes his level 2 studies he will begin his Apprenticeship which will be full time. He will still come into college to complete some functional skills studies. The course tutors helped Tom write his application letter to Anglia Heating and have supported him throughout his studies.
